Classic Teas
This stuff is really good for you. Western science is just catching up to what has been known in the East for millennia of the healthful benefits of drinking tea.
All tea comes from one species of plant, Camellia sinensis. The many, many varieties are mainly a result of the climate in which it was grown, how it is cured and the degree of oxidization the leaves are subjected to. Black tea is oxidized completely, Oolong somewhat, and Green not at all. Beyond that, it is a rich world of variation and epicurean pleasure.
We have selected a group of simple and exotic teas, all organicly grown and ethically farmed, to give you a well-rounded picture of what Camellia sinensis can be.
