Western culture is just catching up to what has been known in the East for millennia of the healthful benefits of drinking tea and the diverse tapestry of social rituals to explore and enjoy.
All tea comes from one species of plant, Camellia sinensis. The many varieties are primarily a result of the climate in which it was grown, how it is cured and the degree of oxidization allowed. Black tea is oxidized completely, Oolong somewhat, and Green not at all. Beyond that, tea is a rich world of variation and epicurean pleasure.
We have chosen these organically grown and ethically farmed teas from around the world, to offer a simple yet exotic selection of what Camellia sinensis can be.
